Words can't express how excited I am for the summer!!!  I grew up on this team and there is no other way I can imagine spending my last official summer!  I am currently 22 years old and I will be graduating from Cal State University Long Beach, with a degree in Business Administration at the end of this May (yay!).  In the Fall I am going to be attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in pursuit of a Master's in Education to become a high school guidance counselor.  Every summer from the age of 9 to 18, I spent on the pool deck as an Aqua Bear.  All I can do is SMILE when I think of this team. When I was an assistant coach 3 summers ago, I LOVED IT, and the seed of working with children was planted in my heart.  I am very excited to be coaching with Matt and Kimi and can't wait to see everyone and meet new families!!!!  I look forward to having a competitive season, being a part of an AMAZING community, and see all the kids improve inside and outside of the pool.  It is going to be a memorable summer.

Hello everyone! My name is Matt Head and I am currently 18 years old.  I go to Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo and I love it there.  I have been on Aqua Bears ever since I was a little Aqua Cub.  I always looked forward to the summers for swim season and I hope you all feel the same way!  I am excited to see old faces and friends, and also meet those of you who I don't know.  It's going to be a good year, and I am excited for this season to start.  Lets have some fun!
